Super Duplex Steel S32750 A995 5A 2507 Floating Ball Valve

Floating ball valve made of super duplex stainless steel (S32750) processing. The material S32750 is a stainless steel material with excellent corrosion resistance and strength. It belongs to ferritic austenitic stainless steel, containing up to 25% chromium, 7% nickel, 4% molybdenum, and 0.25% nitrogen.

ASTM A995 5A belongs to American standard duplex stainless steel castings, and the execution standard is ASTM A995/A995M-2019 ASTM A995 5A is a ferritic austenitic (duplex) stainless steel that combines the most beneficial properties of many ferritic and austenitic steels. Due to its high chromium and molybdenum content, the steel has excellent resistance to point corrosion, crevice corrosion, and uniform corrosion. The duplex microstructure ensures that the steel has high resistance to stress corrosion cracking and high mechanical strength

about super duplex steel & duplex steel

The main differences between super duplex steel and duplex steel include the following aspects:

    Chemical composition:
Super duplex steel contains more metallic elements such as copper (Cu) and nitrogen (N), which help improve the strength, toughness, and corrosion resistance of the material.

    Mechanical properties:
Due to the addition of copper and nitrogen elements, the mechanical properties such as strength, toughness, and corrosion resistance of super duplex steel are superior to those of duplex steel.

    Corrosion resistance:
Super duplex steel also exhibits excellent corrosion resistance, especially in fields such as chemical processing, marine environment, and food industry.

    Thermal stability:
Super duplex steel exhibits superior performance at high temperatures, maintaining high strength and plasticity, which has important advantages in high-temperature processing and use.

    Softening and heat treatment characteristics:
The softening mechanism of super duplex steel is localized weakening, which means that only some areas will soften, while other areas still maintain high strength.
